Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose (HPMC) ត្រូវបានគេដាក់ឈ្មោះថា MHPC ដែលជាកោសិកាដែលមិនមែនជាអ៊ីយ៉ុង អេធើរ HPMC គឺជាម្សៅពីពណ៌សទៅពណ៌ស ដែលមានមុខងារដូចជា thickener, binder, film-former, surfactant, protective colloid, lubricant , សារធាតុ emulsifier និង ជំនួយការផ្អាក និងការរក្សាទឹក។
